What happens on a discovery call?
It's a conversation about your business, and you'll do most of the talking. We'll ask what problems you're trying to solve, what decisions are in front of you, how much you trust your numbers, and who's doing your budgeting and forecasting today. Then we talk about what makes sense to start with.
How long is the first call and is there a cost?
There's no cost, and it typically lasts about 30 minutes. It's a chat about your business, where you're going, and what's in the way, and we're happy to give guidance whether you hire us or not.
What do I need to have ready before we talk?
For CFO work, you don't need anything, and we'll send a preview of our onboarding questions ahead of time. For bookkeeping, we'll ask for QuickBooks access ahead of time, and bank access only comes once we're taking over the books.
How soon can you start?
We can start right away, since we have capacity for new clients now.
