Who is Justin Boyd?
Justin has liked this stuff since Monopoly was his favorite game as a kid. He spent 11 years in pricing and forecasting at IBM, did lending and debt restructuring at a bank, and was CFO for two companies. He started Cash Flow Copilot after meeting owner after owner who was getting bits of financial advice from everyone and had nobody in the CFO seat.
Are you a CPA? Do you do taxes?
No on both. We work alongside the CPA you already have, or we'll introduce you to one from our network. Tax prep is an area we're looking to expand into.
Who else is on the team and who will I actually work with?
Julia, our Director of Operations, is usually your first call and keeps everything running. Justin is your CFO, the bookkeeping team handles your books, and a virtual assistant handles scheduling.
How is a small firm better than a big outsourced accounting company?
You know who you're talking to. You can reach your bookkeeper directly, and they're the one who's been in your books. On the CFO side we don't bill by the minute, and since we're not your employee, we can tell you what we see. Owners who run the business with a spouse or partner tell us the neutral voice is half the value!

We use top-rated password management, keep clients strictly separated, and limit access to the people doing your work. Nothing about your business gets shared, and any story we tell another owner is anonymized.
